I’m a former college English teacher turned house-flipper and kid-raiser. I write fantasy, science fiction, and magical realism.
For eleven years I taught amazing students at two Christian colleges about the joys of Beowulf, the mysteries of independent and dependent clauses, and how to fight their way to a solid written argument.
Five years ago I did an about take, got married, and adopted four kids, two cats, and a bearded dragon. Now you can find me painting houses, landscaping, and keeping the books for my husband’s house-flipping business.
I love Jesus (I owe him everything), plants (especially spiky ones), and practicing tae kwon do with my family (2nd dan black belt). My lists have lists. (Yes, my obsession with organization annoys me too.) My passions are words, growth, and people.
